Perhaps the most boring question someone could ever ask. But it's got to be done.
Going off to uni is totally different to being at school. You'll be sat in lecture halls with potentially 100s of people, it's a complete different learning experience. So it's important you turn up with all of the stationery essentials for university.

Stationery Essentials for University
Pens
Maybe it sounds way too simple, but you're gonna need some pens.
My recommendation? A classic set of BICs, you just can't go wrong.

Highlighters
You'll thank me for this one. This is one of the handiest pieces of stationery you can have at uni. You may as well go with the reliable Stabilos for this one.

Sharpies
Here's a personal favourite. For big and simple notes, you just can't beat a sharpie. And what better than a big old multipack with plenty of colours.

Calculator
This depends totally on the course that you'll be doing. For students on Maths, Science, Business and many other courses you'll probably need a calculator. Some courses may require a more specialist model, but for most people a OS-82MS will be perfect.

Paper
Unfortunately you're going to have to do some work while you're at uni. For taking notes I'd recommend this handy 3-pack of Pukka Pads.

Post it notes
This one's really handy. There's always so much going on and it just makes your life easier to be able to make a quick note and throw it up somewhere. These aren't actually "Post It Notes", but they're my pick.

White Tack
When you get to your new university accommodation, it can look a little sad. Straight away, you NEED to decorate. Get some photos of a site like freeprints, and white tack them up everywhere. (White tack helps to not mark the walls).

Calendar
You'll probably end up a bit disorganised at uni, we all do. But it's up to you to try keep everything in line and make sure you're always where you need to be. I'd grab one of these big calendars to help yourself out.

Flashcards
Anyone studying medicine or any other fact-heavy subject lives for these. There's no better way to learn information than to use flashcards. And they're especially effective when you physically have them in front of you.

Ruler
Why not keep your notes nice and neat. The final thing on our list is a plain old ruler. Here's a cheap one.

Anyways, I hope this helped you out. If you like getting the same stuff but for less money all day every day, I'd sign up to UniHub.
