How to Make Your Instagram Profile Look Professional

1. Choose a Simple Username

First we have to get the basics right, it's important to pick the right username.

  • Don't use any '_', '.' or numbers. Keep the name clean with words only.

  • Keep the name as short as possible, you can always give more details in the later sections.

  • Make sure the name is relevant to what you do.

Our Example: @jimmyallensoffficial → @jimmysdurham

2. Use a Clear Profile Picture

First we have to get the basics right, it's important to pick the right username.

  • Choose a high-quality and clear profile picture that represents your brand.

  • Use a recognisable logo that relates to your name, centred and cropped correctly.

  • Consider using bright eye-catching colours.

Our Example: We came up with a simple new logo using brand colours.
